Upload a photo and land in the trend's bare concrete cafe, sitting up on the small round wall table like it's a stool, coffee in hand. A regular in black walks in, sits on the bench below and sets her cup on the table, and you slide down without a word. Add a second photo to make a friend the regular, or play the regular yourself.

How it works

How do I make the first time in a fancy cafe AI video with my own photo?

Upload one photo and get a 15-second vertical clip in the concrete cafe from the trend: you sit perched on the tiny round table, a regular walks in and uses it the right way, and you ease down onto the bench with a straight face. Pick which part you play, or add a second photo for both. It's a new AI video, not your face pasted into a creator's clip.

  1. Add your photo

Upload one sharp photo. You, a friend or your pet. No sign-in, no password and no app: it all happens on this page.

  2. The AI does the moves

Perched on the tiny table, sipping → A regular walks in → The side-eye at her cup on the table → Sliding down without a word → Side by side, straight faces

  3. Post it like the meme

Play it from the newcomer's side: the first nice place you've been, the new job's coffee spot, the cafe your friend picked.

Price, refunds, limits and tips
You need
One sharp photo. You, a friend or your pet. JPG, PNG or WebP. Nothing else: no prompt to write, no editing.
Who can be in it
You, other adults who agreed, or your own cat or dog. Ways to make it: On the table (1 photo), Walking in (1 photo), Two photos.
You get
A 10 to 15-second MP4 (9:16) up to 1080p, with a house beat and soft cafe sounds the AI makes for the clip (not the trend's song), no watermark, usually in 2 to 5 minutes.
Price
A 15-second 720p video on Seedance 2.0 Mini is $4.99 on its own, one payment. With credits it uses 30 credits (credits from $9.99), or subscribe.
Limits
One continuous 10- or 15-second shot in the trend's concrete cafe, with the beats in the trend's order; each run plays out a little differently and it isn't a frame-by-frame copy of any creator's clip. The caption is part of the video and the AI sometimes writes it as "café". People wear the all-black look, not the clothes in your photo. Adults with their OK, or your own pet.

What is the First Time in a Fancy Cafe meme?

"POV: Your first time in a fancy cafe" went viral on TikTok on 1 November 2026 with @leehoustonx's clip: in a minimalist concrete cafe, a man sits on a small round table fixed to the wall as if it were a stool, until a woman in black sits on the bench and puts her cup on the same table, and he slowly climbs down. People filmed their own takes in cafes within a day, then started making it from a photo with CapCut templates and AI.

Best photo for a First Time in a Fancy Cafe video

One person or one pet per photo, sharp and well lit; head to toe or waist up for people, the whole body for pets. Clothes don't matter: the AI dresses everyone in the trend's all-black cafe look and keeps your face and hair.

  • acting like I come here all the time

FAQ

First Time in a Fancy Cafe AI FAQ

Which part do I play?

Your pick. On the table puts you on the little table and the AI adds the regular who walks in; Walking in makes you the regular and the AI adds the newcomer; Two photos casts both, the first photo on the table and the second walking in.

Can my pet be the one on the table?

Yes. Choose On the table with your dog's or cat's photo: it sits up on the disc next to a paper cup, then climbs down to the bench and sits straight while the regular settles in.

Why is everyone wearing black?

Both viral versions are dressed head to toe in black, and the joke reads better that way, so the AI changes the outfits and keeps each face and hairstyle from the photo.

Does it have the trend's song?

No. The AI makes its own house beat with footsteps and a cup set down, so nothing in the file is a copyrighted track. Turn sound off here and pick the trend's song in TikTok's sound library when you post.

Is it the same cafe as the TikTok clip?

It's the same kind of set: a grey concrete wall with two alcoves, a long bench and the little steel tables on posts. The people come only from your photos.

Is Turnly an app, a filter or the official First Time in a Fancy Cafe maker?

No. Turnly is an independent website, not made by or affiliated with the creators of the First Time in a Fancy Cafe meme, TikTok or CapCut. There's no app or live filter: you upload a photo in your browser and get a new AI video. It never uses or edits the original clip.

Sign-up, payment, refunds, failed videos and what happens to your photos are answered on the Pricing and How it works pages.
