Acceptable use policy

These rules apply to every photo you upload and every video you create on Turnly, and are part of our terms of service.

Prohibited content

You may not upload photos for, or use generated videos to create or share:

1. Sexual or NSFW content: nudity, sexual acts, sexually suggestive content or fetish content.
2. Violence or gore: graphic injury, blood, animal cruelty, or content that promotes violence or self-harm.
3. Hate speech: content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits, including hateful symbols.
4. Child safety: any photo of a child, and anything that sexualises, exploits or endangers children. We report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.
5. Deepfakes and impersonation: in Turnly, photos of public figures or celebrities, photos of anyone who didn't agree, and videos presented as real footage or used to deceive, harass, defame or commit fraud; in Toc Toc Dance, BbY WOW Dance, C-Walk, My Girl Couple Pinch, AI Caricature, AI Aging Filter, Angel or Devil Filter, Enchantress Filter, photos of public figures or celebrities, photos of anyone who didn't agree, and videos presented as real footage or used to deceive, harass, defame or commit fraud; in Kung Fu Cat, Wizard Cat Dance, Dog Coffee Fail, photos of any person, including public figures and celebrities, and videos presented as real footage or used to deceive, harass, defame or commit fraud.
6. Copyright and trademark infringement: photos you don't have the rights to, and adding protected logos, characters, songs or clips owned by others.

How we keep the service safe

• Every effect is a fixed template written by us, with options we chose. You can't replace our prompt; the only words you can add are a short note on the home page (up to 200 letters and numbers) that goes inside it and through the same safety checks.
• For Turnly: Before generating you confirm that everyone in the photo is 18 or older and agreed, or that it shows your own pet or a place, and we record when you confirmed it.
• For Toc Toc Dance, BbY WOW Dance, C-Walk, My Girl Couple Pinch, AI Caricature, AI Aging Filter, Angel or Devil Filter, Enchantress Filter: Only photos of adults are accepted. Before generating you confirm that everyone in the photos is 18 or older and agreed, and we record when you confirmed it.
• For Kung Fu Cat, Wizard Cat Dance, Dog Coffee Fail: Only pet photos are accepted. Before generating you confirm the photo is of your own cat or dog, and we record when you confirmed it.
• Uploads must be real JPG, PNG or WebP photos. Every photo goes through an automatic content-safety check, and the Seedance, Veo and Wan models also apply their own safety filters to every generation.
• We review every report and remove content that breaks these rules.
• Every video is labelled as AI-generated on the site, and we ask you to use the AI-generated label when you post it.
• Uploaded photos are deleted automatically: after 2 days if they were never used for a video, otherwise after 30 days.

What happens if you break these rules

We block the video, delete the photos and videos concerned, and may close the account. Serious violations, including anything involving children, are reported to law enforcement.

Report a video

If you see a video made with Turnly that breaks these rules or uses your likeness without consent, email support@turnphotointovideo.com with the subject "Report", a link to the video and a short description. We review every report within 2 business days.
