AI Graduation Video From a Photo

Updated 2026-10-30 · Turnly

Upload one photo of the graduate below: the words "he throws his graduation cap high into the air and cheers as it falls back down" are already typed in on "Come alive" (change "he" and "his" to fit). The AI turns it into a 10-second vertical video in a few minutes, $9.99, no sign-in. Use it for a graduation post, a party screen or a thank-you to family.

The photo — One generation from this photo, shown as it came out: the camera follows the cap up.

Graduation lines to try

"he throws his graduation cap high into the air and cheers as it falls back down" (the sample above; the cap has to be in the photo, in a hand or on the head).
"she holds up her diploma, laughs and waves to the camera".
"confetti falls as she turns to the camera and bows".
Or pick "Walk to the camera" for a proud walk toward the lens.

Step by step

Pick a photo of the graduate, 18 or older (college, university or a grad degree), face clear, the cap or diploma visible.
Upload it above (no sign-in needed). Edit the words, up to 200 characters; keep 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Stories.
Pay once: a 10-second 720p video on Seedance 2.0 Fast is $9.99 on its own (one payment, no subscription), or 40 credits; credits from $9.99 for 40.
Wait 2 to 5 minutes, download the MP4 and add the school, the year and your song when you post.

Can I use a high school graduation photo?

Only if the graduate is 18 or older and agrees. Photos of anyone under 18 aren't allowed here, high school seniors included.

Ways graduates use it

The graduation-day post: the cap toss from your favourite photo, in 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Stories.
The screen at the graduation party: pick 16:9 wide and loop it.
A thank-you to your parents, sent in the family chat with a line of your own.
Your class photo of friends, if everyone in it is 18 or older and agrees: "they throw their caps in the air and cheer".

Which photo works best?

Cap and gown in the frame, from the waist up, with some sky or room above your head for the cap to fly into.
Daylight, face toward the camera, not too small.
Holding the diploma? Ask for it: "she holds up her diploma, laughs and waves".
If the cap is off your head in the photo, hold it in your hand so the AI has it to throw.

Can it write my school name or the year?

No, the video has no text. Add your school, the year and a song in the app you post with.

What if the cap doesn't fly the way I wanted?

The AI follows the words as best it can, and some throws come out better than others. Try a simpler line, like "he waves his diploma and cheers", or a photo with the cap in your hand. Not happy with your first paid video? You get a full refund within 7 days.

How much does it cost?

From $3.99 for a 5-second 480p clip on Seedance 2.0 Mini; a 10-second 720p video on Seedance 2.0 Fast is $9.99. You see the price before you pay, there's no subscription, and if you're not happy with your first paid video you get a full refund within 7 days.
